This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your AUDI A3 Convertible. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your AUDI A3 Convertible, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your AUDI A3 Convertible is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI A3 Convertible. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
