This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your VW CADDY ALLTRACK IV Box Body/MPV. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW CADDY ALLTRACK IV Box Body/MPV and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW CADDY ALLTRACK IV Box Body/MPV is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW CADDY ALLTRACK IV Box Body/MPV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 2.5 hour(s).

The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
