This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your SEAT ALTEA XL . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your SEAT ALTEA XL and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your SEAT ALTEA XL is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your SEAT ALTEA XL . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
