This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your JAGUAR F-PACE. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your JAGUAR F-PACE, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your JAGUAR F-PACE is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your JAGUAR F-PACE . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
