Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from ECS is the right one. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
Installation instructions are given here in different languages and, depending upon the product, complementary installation help and additional images which make the installation or attachment of the product easier for you.
