This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Platform/Chassis . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Platform/Chassis, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Platform/Chassis is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Platform/Chassis. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
