This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Mixto (Double Cabin). This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Mixto (Double Cabin) . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Mixto (Double Cabin) is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Mixto (Double Cabin) installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Mixto (Double Cabin). It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
