Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your FIAT DUCATO Bus with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed FIAT DUCATO Bus installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FIAT DUCATO Bus. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 184885 is available separately.
