This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your AUDI A4 B8 Avant. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your AUDI A4 B8 Avant . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your AUDI A4 B8 Avant is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed A4 B8 Avant A4 B8 Avant installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI A4 B8 Avant. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
