This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your JAGUAR F-PACE . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your JAGUAR F-PACE . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your JAGUAR F-PACE with a push on a dashboard button. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your JAGUAR F-PACE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
