This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 5008 III. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your PEUGEOT 5008 III, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 5008 III is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle.
The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
