This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your FIAT DUCATO Platform/Chassis . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the FIAT DUCATO Platform/Chassis. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your FIAT DUCATO Platform/Chassis is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed DUCATO Platform/Chassis DUCATO Platform/Chassis installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set . A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 184885 is available separately. It is possible to extend pin 10 of the trailer socket to steady plus to charge a separate battery in the trailer. The extension set for the charging function is available under order number . You can also ask us about the right extension set to power electric items in the trailer (steady plus).
