This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your AUDI Q6 E-TRON Sportback. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the AUDI Q6 E-TRON Sportback. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your AUDI Q6 E-TRON Sportback with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed Q6 E-TRON Sportback Q6 E-TRON Sportback installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI Q6 E-TRON Sportback. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
