This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ECS is made specifically for your LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT . The kit will trigger the specific trailer turn light control indicator in the LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT dashboard. This function must not be activated separately.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT is supported by this 13 pin Relay electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
