This 13 pin ECS wiring kit is made specifically for your FORD TRANSIT Platform/Chassis. The 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the frequency of the turn light indicator when a trailer light is not working.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your FORD TRANSIT Platform/Chassis with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed FORD TRANSIT Platform/Chassis installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FORD TRANSIT Platform/Chassis. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
