The automatic deactivation of the parking aid function of your KIA SORENTO IV is supported by this 13 pin Top Tronic electrical wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your KIA SORENTO IV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
