A shutdown of the factory-installed parking aid function on BYD TANG is supported by this 13 pin Top Tronic electrical wiring kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed BYD TANG installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BYD TANG. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
