After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your PEUGEOT 5008, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 5008 is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PEUGEOT 5008. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 5008 when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: ZB6335. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory ZB6335 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
