This 7 pin wire kit for your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon is produced by ECS for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
