This 7 pin wiring kit for your FORD MONDEO IV is manufactured by ECS for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your FORD MONDEO IV . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your FORD MONDEO IV is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
