This 7 pin wiring kit for your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier is manufactured by ECS for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your FORD MONDEO IV Turnier is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
