This 7 pin kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ CLS Shooting Brake is made by ECS for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ CLS Shooting Brake . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ CLS Shooting Brake. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. ECS specifies an intallation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
