This 7 pin wiring kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS is manufactured by ECS for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
