This 7 pin wire kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ CLA Coupe is produced by ECS for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ CLA Coupe, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ CLA Coupe is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ CLA Coupe. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
