This 7 pin wiring kit for your CITROËN C8 is manufactured by ECS for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your CITROËN C8 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your CITROËN C8 is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your CITROËN C8 when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory ZB6335 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory ZB6335 must be installed 2 times.
An adhesive label or sign on the A or B pillar of your CITROËN C8 displays the ORGA number. Please note that this electrical set is only suitable as of number 10585.
