This 7 pin wiring kit for your VW ID.4 is manufactured by ECS for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW ID.4 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW ID.4 is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW ID.4. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
