Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW 5 Touring with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW 5 Touring. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
