This 7 pin wiring kit for your BMW X5 is manufactured by ECS for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your BMW X5. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW X5 with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW X5. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
