The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your AUDI E-TRON Sportback is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your AUDI E-TRON Sportback . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket.
