This 7 pin wire kit for your JAGUAR XE is produced by ECS for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the JAGUAR XE. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your JAGUAR XE with a button on your dashboard. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your JAGUAR XE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket.
