This 7 pin wire kit for your VW PASSAT B8 Variant is produced by Erich Jaeger for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your VW PASSAT B8 Variant, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW PASSAT B8 Variant is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VW PASSAT B8 Variant . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
