This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your FORD USA EDGE. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD USA EDGE, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FORD USA EDGE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
Pin 9 of the socket can be extended with steady plus by connecting the additional wire: 107650 to connect additional electrical consumers in your trailer.
