This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
