This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Van. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Van and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Van is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Van. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
