This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your SEAT LEON ST. This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your SEAT LEON ST. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SEAT LEON ST. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
