This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your SEAT LEON ST. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the SEAT LEON ST. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your SEAT LEON ST is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SEAT LEON ST. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
