After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your VW GOLF PLUS V, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW GOLF PLUS V is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VW GOLF PLUS V . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 2.5 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
