This 7 pin wiring kit for your PEUGEOT 508 I is manufactured by Erich Jaeger for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your PEUGEOT 508 I and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your PEUGEOT 508 I with a button on your dashboard. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle.
