The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your AUDI Q5 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
