Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BMW 5 Touring is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
