This 7 pin wire kit for your VW PASSAT B8 is produced by Erich Jaeger for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW PASSAT B8 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW PASSAT B8 is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT B8. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
