This 7 pin kit for your AUDI A5 is made by Erich Jaeger for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your AUDI A5, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your AUDI A5 is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI A5. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
