This 7 pin kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Convertible is made by Erich Jaeger for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Convertible and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Convertible is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Convertible . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
