This towbar can be secured against theft by an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 2350 kg and a vertical load of 140 kg. GDW indicates a fatigue strength of 11.55 kN.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions.

Bike carriers can be securely fitted onto this VW PASSAT B8 towbar.

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from GDW. The product has a dip-coat. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.
