Product details

A simple lever mechanism releases this detachable horizontal GDW towbar. It's a perfect option for the VW GOLF III Cabriolet. The GDW T36 is a practical, reliable and durable hand and lever system. The tow ball is secured onto the towing bracket with 2 screws.

Use accessory 218918 to protect the towbar against theft. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1500 kg and a vertical load of 75 kg. GDW indicates a fatigue strength of 8.1 kN.

A cut in the bumper is required to fit this towbar. The cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions.

Bike carriers can be securely fitted onto this VW GOLF III Cabriolet towbar.

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from GDW. The product has a dip-coat. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.
