This detachable, horizontal GDW towbar has a simple lever mechanism and is a perfect option for a FIAT PANDA . In the category hand and lever systems, the GDW T36 is very practical, reliable and durables. It takes 2 screws to fasten the tow ball to the towing bracket.
Use accessory 218918 to protect the towbar against theft. Towing capacity up to 980 kg and a vertical load of 70 kg characterize this towbar. A fatigue strength of 6 kN is listed for GDW.
This towbar requires a cut in the lower part of the bumper. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are included with the installation instructions.
For frequent use of bike carriers, trailers with roll damping systems, or heavy loads we recommend a detachable automatic system or swivelling towbar.
The detailed installation instructions from the manufacturer GDW are included with this product. The product is dip-coated to increase weather resistance. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.
