for vehicles without preparation (1D0), the lower bumper section must be replaced: this can be found under "matching accessories".
The electrical set is delivered in passive mode. The assistance systems on the vehicle are not switched off in this case and coding is not required.
If coding is possible, however, there is the option to switch the electrical set to active mode at the touch of a button and then to code it so that the assistance systems are automatically switched off during towbar operation.

The ball head can be simply removed and stored in the boot when it is not required.
