The Oris system for VW PASSAT B8 Variant has a high loading capacity and is highly versatile. It can be used for work and vacation. It boasts with good design, simple handling and excellent manufacturing.

This towbar can be secured against theft by an integrated lock. This towbar has a towing capacity of up to 2233 kg and a vertical load of 100 kg. A fatigue strength of 11.5 kN is listed for Oris.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer Oris. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a high-quality smooth surface is the result.

Read and follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer when installing the hitch. Normally all information can be found in the vehicle's user manual. To install the detachable towbar, the use of accessory 173864 is required.
