  • it is possible that the engine cooling system of the vehicle is not equipped for operation of a trailer; in such cases it may be necessary to replace parts of the cooling system (e.g. fans)
  • if the vehicle is pre-equipped for the AHK, there will be an open 12-pin connector (in the boot behind the right-hand side panel)
  • this wiring harness kit was developed for vehicles with no pre-equipment, but can also be used on vehicles with the 12-pin connector

Your vehicle will be optimally equipped to meet all challenges with this complete set, comprising a rigid towbar by Oris and the necessary 7-pin electrical kit. The towbar and electrical kit were developed specifically for your AUDI A5. You can tow trailers weighing up to 2145 kg with them.

The vehicle does not need to be inspected by an expert after the complete set has been installed. There is also no need for an entry in the vehicle documentation of your AUDI A5 . The instructions in your vehicle user manual, issued by the vehicle manufacturer, must be complied with. In reverse, the parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball of this rigid towbar. It could be recognized as an obstacle. We recommend fitting a detachable towbar in vehicles with parking assistance systems.
