this wiring harness kit was developed for vehicles with no pre-equipment, but can also be used on vehicles with the 12-pin connector
if the vehicle is pre-equipped for the AHK, there will be an open 12-pin connector (in the boot behind the right-hand side panel)
Before a trailer coupling is added, the vehicle should be checked to determine whether it has been pre-fitted for operation of a trailer. We will be happy to check this for you on the basis of the chassis number.

The vehicle does not need to be inspected by an expert after the complete set has been installed. There is also no need for an entry in the vehicle documentation of your AUDI A6 C7 . The instructions in your vehicle user manual, issued by the vehicle manufacturer, must be complied with. It is possible that the parking assist sensors of the car detect the tow ball. In reverse the towbar could be recognized as an obstacle. If your vehicle has a parking assistance system, we recommend that you install a detachable towbar.
